Join the UKs first international aquatic fitness showcase event and try a new aqua class. Plus water fitness kids means the whole family can join in.
The Water Fitness showcase event will take place on Sunday 16 September 2018 at Woodhouse Close Leisure Complex between 11.00am and 4.00pm.
Each session costs £4.00 per person and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

Hydrorider Aqua Cycling: Using yydrorider underwater aquabikes, this class combines indoor cycling with aquatic fitness which adds a whole new list of functional exercises impossible to safely achieve in any other cycling class.
Hydrojump: Using yydrorider diamond jump aquatic trampettes, the class combines high intensity cardio vascular exercises, no impact power plyometric exercises, suspended buoyancy exercises, conditioning exercises all put together into a choreographed routine that is challenging physically but fun for all.
Hydropole is a dynamic cardiovascular core, upper and lower body conditioning workout delivered on the UK manufactured and designed hydropole. A large majority of the class is delivered from a suspended positon which really focuses on abdominal and lower back and postural engagement.
Hydropole Core Challenge is a session focusing on using segments of high intensity core blast exercises for a period of up to 45 seconds, and then recovery segments of a much shorter period. This session will be delivered with an ahiit style, and potentially a core exercise accumulator section to finish off.
Functional Ahiit is a session taken in the tank pool, don’t expect to dance in this session!! The pure focus is functional conditioning overload, it will take full body aquatic conditioning to the new level of intensity but still allowing just enough recovery between each set to maintain form for the next muscle group and exercise. Simply formatted easy to follow and very rewarding when adhered to as it guarantees results.
Hydrofighter is a mixed martial arts based concept taught across 3 platforms, no equipment, just gloves and gloves and bags. For the WF1 event the masterclass will consist of technique and drill training with gloves focusing on form and power delivery for the first half. The second section will be simple combination training on and off the bags working 2 people per bag.
Depth Charge combines multiple elements from deep water aquatics and, deep water running, jogging, sprinting and SAQ exercise. With a huge variety of different elements of all deep water aquatics this is a fantastic session for all levels of fitness and experience levels of deep water.
Deep Water Ahiit is aquatic high intensity interval training in the deep water (recommended competent swimmers). There will be 2 to 3 separate segments during the workout, they will all focus on traditional hiit, and tabata style workouts where the rest period is shorter than the workout.
Deep Water Dance is choreographed deep water dance focusing on aerobic fitness, core challenge and working deep water to rythmn and beats.
Belts, Bouys on Tracks is deep water, double buoyancy with belts and hand buoys that also means extra resistance and harder work. Each track of music will have an individual focus and exercises will be structured around the musical elements of verse and chorus within the individual song.
Water Fitness Itala – Ivan and Manuela will take to the main stage, have the entirety of the shallow end of the pool, this section will bring to life how new aqe aquatics is delivered within Europe and across the world by 2 of the World’s best Aquatic Fitness Presenters
Water Fitness Finale Party DJ Set – resident DJ ill WILL is going to live DJ a full hour set of dance and party tunes from the late 80’s to present day. All WF1 team members will take to the stage to team teach a fun finale for all attendee’s and finish the event with a deep stretch and a big thank you.
Splash and Bouce is a 30 minute taster session on hydrorider diamond aqua jump trampettes for children aged 6 to 11, the focus is on mixing fun and games with fitness.
Water Fitness Kids is party games, dance offs, splashing and giggles helping kids become more confident in water and enjoy being in it without having to be in a swimming lesson.
